CFFLA gives you two things in one place: a library of the forms and bulletins Colorado dealers need, and a generator that fills official forms for you on screen.
The FDD Library
Open the FDD Library from the menu (also at cffla.org/documents). It holds "Colorado Firearms Dealer Division forms and industry bulletins."
Anyone can browse the verified documents. Signed-in members see more of the collection. Click a document to open and read it.
Filling a form
Open ATF Forms from the menu. You'll see a list of forms as cards — each shows its name with a "Preview" button; expand a card and click "Fill this form" to start. Forms available today include Form 4 (ATF Form 4 / 5320.4) and the CO Firearms Dealer License Application, among other official ATF and Colorado DOR forms.
Filling a form is a step-by-step wizard:
- The form is split into numbered sections (01, 02, and so on). You can click any section to jump to it — you don't have to go in order.
- A "Required fields" counter tracks how many required boxes you've filled.
- Fill in what you can. As the help text says: *"You can save or download an incomplete form anytime — completing only freezes a final copy."*
Drafts vs. completed copies
- A draft ("Saved draft") is editable and kept about 90 days. Come back to keep editing, preview the PDF, or complete it. Use "Save draft" (or "Save changes") and "Download PDF" anytime.
- A completed copy ("Filed copy") is frozen and saved to your account. As the form reminds you: *"Print it, review every field, and sign in ink before filing."*
Your saved forms
Find everything you've started under your saved forms (cffla.org/forms/records). Each row shows a "Draft" or "Completed" badge:
- Draft rows offer "Edit," "Preview," and "Complete."
- Completed rows offer "Download."
Completing a draft freezes the final PDF — so finish it only when every field is right.
