This guide covers keeping your profile up to date and managing your CFFLA membership.
Editing your profile
Open Account from the menu ("Account Settings" — *"Manage your profile, business information, and preferences."*). Your details are grouped into sections:
- Personal Information — First Name, Last Name, Phone Number. (Your Email is shown but can't be changed here — the form notes *"Email cannot be changed."*)
- FFL Details — FFL Number and FFL Type.
- Business Information — Business Name, Business Model, Business Address (with a "Lookup Districts" button), Years in Business, Number of Employees.
- Location & Districts — County, Senate District, House District.
- Compliance Concerns — check the topics you care about most.
- Additional Notes — anything else.
- Membership Authorization — the "CFFLA Representation Authorization" checkbox, authorizing CFFLA to represent your business.
- Communication Preferences — "Email Updates" and "Advocacy Communications."
When you're done, click "Save Changes." You'll see "Profile updated successfully."
Your membership & billing
Open the Membership page (at cffla.org/billing — *"Your CFFLA membership and billing"*).
"Your status" shows whether you're Active, Canceling, or on a Free Trial, along with your Membership type, Member Since date, Tokens Used This Month, and your Next Billing Date (or Access Until date if you've canceled). Members also get a "Contribute to CFFLA" button here — that's a donation, separate from your dues.
Choosing your membership
If you're not a paying member yet, the page shows "Choose your membership" — both member tiers get the identical suite; the dues reflect your place in the industry, not what you get:
- Stay Free — $0. Keep your account as-is (one-time trial tokens, the forms and document library, FFL news and the litigation tracker). Click "Stay free for now."
- Supporting Member — $15/month, for non-FFL industry (marked "NON-FFL INDUSTRY"). Click "Choose Supporting Member."
- Full FFL — $40/month, for licensed dealers. Click "Choose Full FFL."
- Full FFL Annual — $450/year ($37.50/mo, "Save $30", marked "BEST VALUE"). Click "Choose Full FFL Annual."
Paid plans include: "830k tokens/mo," "Compliance Assistant," "Legislative alerts," and "Cancel anytime."
Upgrading from Supporting to Full FFL
If you're a Supporting Member, the Membership page offers "Upgrade to Full FFL — $40/month." Click "Upgrade to Full FFL" and the switch happens right away — as the page says, *"Switch today with no charge now. The prorated difference is applied to your next invoice."*
Canceling
To cancel, use "Cancel membership" on the Membership page. As it explains: *"Cancel your CFFLA membership? You'll retain access through the end of your billing period."*
